HRI 2026 will be the first conference in the series to have a public engagement showcase. The showcase will be held on the afternoon of Tuesday 17th of March from 16:30-18:00. This event will open our demonstration spaces to the wider community, including school groups, local residents, industry professionals, and the media. Visitors will be able to experience the latest research, innovations, and applications in human-robot interaction first-hand. Participation in this event is expected for all exhibitors, demo presenters, and industrial participants. Please plan to keep all hardware, displays, and materials in place for the public showcase, and ensure that they remain staffed and operational during the session. This is a valuable opportunity to:
- Present research to an audience beyond the academic community.
- Engage directly with the public, policymakers, and potential collaborators.
- Inspire interest in robotics research and applications among diverse groups, from schoolchildren to industry leaders.
