A true conference highlight! All conference delegates are invited to attend the conference dinner at the stunning National Museum of Scotland. Situated in the heart of Edinburgh’s old town, the museum is an impressive venue for any event.
The evening will begin with drinks and canapes, before guests are invited up to the Grand Gallery to enjoy dinner and presentation of the HRI Awards. The fine Victorian architecture is sure to provide a spectacular backdrop.

SICSA Farewell Celebration – Ceilidh

Cost: £10 – tickets can be purchased when registering for the conference.
We will say farewell to the HRI’26 conference with a celebration of Scotland, supported by the Scottish Informatics and Computer Science Alliance – Human-Computer Interaction & Interactive Technology theme. Doors open at 19:30. This will be a great opportunity to network with your peers across Scotland and the UK.
You will have a fantastic opportunity to take part in a traditional Scottish Dancing in an historic former church building, which stills retains many of its original features.
The Ceilidh dance will begin at 20:00 with our caller explaining the steps and guiding you through each dance, making sure everyone can participate and enjoy the live band.
Space is limited to 190 participants and so you are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
