Fostering an Inclusive and Respectful Community

HRI 2026 values the richness that diverse perspectives bring to the academic community. We are committed to building an environment where all individuals, regardless of gender, race, ability, age, socioeconomic status, or identity, feel safe, valued, and able to participate fully.

HRI 2026 affirms the principle that its meetings, communications, and other activities should be accessible to all persons and will make every reasonable effort to accommodate their needs for attendance and participation. We want to ensure that no one is prevented from attending our conference, and equally assure people that the conference will present an accessible experience for both attendees and presenters.

Our Commitments:

  • A clear Code of Conduct that is enforced
  • Providing accessibility supports to all attendees
  • Encouraging respectful communication and feedback

We welcome your input on how to make HRI more inclusive. Please reach out to the Accessibility chairs at accessibility2026@humanrobotinteraction.org with suggestions or feedback.
