Getting Around Cambridge
Cambridge has a small town centre and is very easy to walk around. We recommend walking between the conference venues. However, there are excellent public transportation options too, especially to and from the railway station.
Bus:
All the conference venues are connected by local buses that run at regular intervals to and from Cambridge railway station. Two operator is Whippet.
Universal (U) bus covers all the conference locations. One way, day tickets (£3) and week tickets (£11) can be bought on the buses. Please refer to http://www.go-whippet.co.uk/tickets/some-notes-about-tickets/. Card and Google pay options are also available. Please note that the tickets bought on buses operated by one company cannot be used for the buses operated by another company.
There is also an option to buy a bus ticket along with your train ticket at a cheaper price for unlimited travel across different bus operators using the PlusBus option. More details here: http://www.plusbus.info/cambridge.
