How to donate to HRI 2020 – and experience various benefits
As an organization at the forefront of human-robot interaction, we would like to invite you to support HRI 2020, the 15th annual ACM/IEEE International Conference on Human-Robot Interaction, to be held in Cambridge, UK, from March 23-26, 2020. This 15th conference edition is dedicated to “Real World Human-Robot Interaction”.
HRI is a highly selective annual conference that seeks to showcase the very best research in human-robot interaction with roots in various fields like robotics, psychology, cognitive science, HCI, human factors, artificial intelligence, organizational behaviour, anthropology, and many others. HRI research has shown significant impact in application oriented areas ranging from social service robots in elderly or health care through collaborative robots in industrial contexts to autonomous cars, to name a few. This year’s conference theme, “Real World Human-Robot Interaction”, underlines the connection between fundamental HRI research and its real-world application areas.
The conference will be held at Corn Exchange and Cambridge Guild Hall, bringing together researchers and representatives from academia and industry from all over the world. Previous conferences have attracted a generally increasing number of participants with recently noted 408 participants in Daegu, South Korea (2019), 559 in Chicago USA (2018), 434 in Vienna, Austria (2017), 224 in Christchurch, New Zealand (2016), 340 in Portland, USA (2015), and 327 in Bielefeld, Germany (2014) after starting out in Salt Lake City in 2006 with 146 participants.
While the conference can be expected to see participation of the best minds and leading established researchers, it is also a forum for the newcomers in the field. Thus, we wish to bring together the organizations most interested in the latest technological advances in HRI, and invite your participation in this event, not the least to get in contact with prospective additions to your work force. We offer several levels of support, with various benefits associated with each level, as follows.
