With this year&#8217;s theme of Innovative HRI, this track is meant to serve as a natural home for work that shows how HRI ideas become deployable real-world systems.<\/p>\n  <p class=\"cfp-p\">This track offers a dedicated venue for industry practitioners, applied researchers, and cross-sector teams to share practical, real-world lessons from human-robot interaction: the kind of insight that doesn&#8217;t always fit a traditional research paper. We invite you to submit your work to the Industry White Paper Track of the ACM\/IEEE International Conference on Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) 2027.<\/p>\n\n  <h2 class=\"cfp-h2\">Important Dates<\/h2>\n  <div class=\"cfp-dates\">\n    <div class=\"cfp-date-row\">\n      <span class=\"cfp-date-label\">Submission deadline<\/span>\n      <span class=\"cfp-date-value\">October 10, 2026<\/span>\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"cfp-date-row\">\n      <span class=\"cfp-date-label\">Notification of acceptance<\/span>\n      <span class=\"cfp-date-value\">November 14, 2026<\/span>\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"cfp-date-row\">\n      <span class=\"cfp-date-label\">Camera-ready version<\/span>\n      <span class=\"cfp-date-value\">January 2, 2027<\/span>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n  <p class=\"cfp-p\"><em>All deadlines are 11:59 pm AoE.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"cfp-callout\">\n  <p class=\"cfp-callout-label\">Submission System<\/p>\n  <p class=\"cfp-callout-text\">Submission Link:  <a href=\"https:\/\/new.precisionconference.com\/submissions\" class=\"cfp-link\">https:\/\/new.precisionconference.com\/submissions<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"cfp-callout-text\"><em>HRI (Society) \u2192 HRI 2027 (Conference\/Journal) \u2192 HRI 2027 Industry White Papers (Track)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n  <h2 class=\"cfp-h2\">Scope<\/h2>\n  <p class=\"cfp-p\">We welcome submissions on practical, real-world experience deploying and operating HRI systems: the challenges, trade-offs, and lessons that emerge once systems leave the lab.<\/p>\n  <p class=\"cfp-p\">Topics include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n  <ul class=\"cfp-list\">\n    <li>Case studies of <strong>successful or failed<\/strong> robotic system <strong>integrations<\/strong> in human-robot interaction contexts (e.g., service robots in hospitality, social robots in eldercare, manufacturing cobots, logistics robots, field robots interacting with humans).<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Deployments<\/strong> in realistic <strong>operational environments<\/strong>, with lessons learned across technical, human-factors, organisational, or business dimensions.<\/li>\n    <li>Practical challenges around <strong>scalability, robustness, user acceptance, ethics, safety, maintenance, regulation,<\/strong> and <strong>sustainability<\/strong>.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Innovation<\/strong> in <strong>interaction design, system architecture<\/strong>, or <strong>human-robot teaming<\/strong>, with a focus on applicability beyond the immediate case.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Academia-industry collaborations<\/strong>: how they were structured, what worked, what didn&#8217;t.<\/li>\n    <li>Insights on <strong>evaluation, metrics, real-world performance,<\/strong> and <strong>long-term adaptation of deployed systems<\/strong>.<\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n  <p class=\"cfp-p\">We especially encourage submissions that surface patterns or recurring challenges relevant across domains.<\/p>\n\n  <h2 class=\"cfp-h2\">Submission Guidelines<\/h2>\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n  <ul class=\"cfp-list\">\n    <li><strong>Length:<\/strong> Up to 4 pages (double-column) including figures, excluding references. Templates are available at <a class=\"cfp-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.acm.org\/publications\/proceedings-template\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this link<\/a> (US letter). You can use <a class=\"cfp-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.overleaf.com\/latex\/templates\/acm-conference-proceedings-primary-article-template\/wbvnghjbzwpc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this link<\/a> to start writing directly via Overleaf.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Anonymisation:<\/strong> As an industry-oriented track, author names, affiliations, and logos are permitted. However, we <strong><em>strongly<\/em><\/strong> discourage the use of marketing-style language and product branding. Please ensure that industry white papers emphasise insight rather than advertisement.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Format:<\/strong> PDF format, compatible with the ACM workflow.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Supplementary Materials:<\/strong> Authors may optionally provide a link to supplementary material (e.g., data, videos, system photos) but this does not replace the main document or count beyond the 4-page limit.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Evaluation Criteria:<\/strong> Relevance to HRI practice, clarity of lessons learned, novelty of insight, generalisability, rigour of reflection (not necessarily academic lab-style), and accessibility to both industry and academic audiences.<\/li>\n    <li><strong>Archival:<\/strong> New this year!
